
840 men, women and children enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal and exuberant entertainment on a cold Saturday, November 22. As a result of the generosity of those in Northeast Ohio, a total of 1,790 holiday food baskets were distributed to families in need - 969 for Thanksgiving and 821 baskets for Christmas.
1,818 new toys and games were distributed to Laura's Home, Pathways Youth Program, non-custodial parents in our Crossroads and Laura's Home facilities and to the general public. Read the article that appeared the Plain Dealer's Christmas Day edition in Cleveland and Columbus.

Volunteering at The City Mission begins with a one-hour information session which provides prospective volunteers with an overview of the Mission's operations. After the session, participatants can discuss specific openings with a volunteer coordinator.

Local television stations have begun airing public service announcements for The City Mission. You can also listen to audio files of men, women and children in the Mission's long-term program. So often they came to us for a simple meal and a warm, safe place to stay and found the start of a new life.

Thanks to the generosity of the capacity crowd at Bay Presbyterian Church on Sunday, December 21, the emergency food pantry received a much needed restocking for the families who will be needing food. 3 shelving units were filled at the church.Thank you to all who gave!
