LOCATION: Crossroads- 5310 Carnegie Ave. Building C, Cleveland, OH 44103

AVAILABLE TIMES: Lunch – start serving at 11:30am, Dinner – start serving at 5:30pm

**please schedule specific meal dates with the volunteer coordinator as availability will vary by month**

Note: If you plan to prepare and cook food in the kitchen at Crossroads, please arrive 2 hours early.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Purchase, prepare, reheat, and serve meal for approximately 60-70 residents
  2. Wash dishes/pans and assist with clean-up in kitchen and dining room

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must be passionate about ministering to men, women, and children in crisis
  2. Confident leader
  3. Free of an addictive lifestyle
  4. Onsite visit with the Food Service Supervisor
  5. Must designate a group leader to undergo the application process, as well as serve as a contact person
  6. Must be 16 years or older to serve in the kitchen (16 and 17 year olds must serve with an adult/guardian)

ONBOARDING EXPECTATIONS:

  1. Attend Volunteering 101 Session
  2. Complete Online Group Application (Statement of Faith acknowledgment included)
  3. Sign Volunteer Waiver
  4. Onsite Visit in Kitchen
  5. Background Check (for group leader)
