Pathways Family Services

A Loving Environment for Laura's Home Children

The Pathways program aims to positively impact the lives of the children and youth who come through the doors of Laura’s Home by serving Kindergarteners through 12th grade students. Using trauma-informed care, our program offers resources and programs to support their educational, emotional and spiritual well-being in addition to providing loving staff to surround them in a positive, Christ-centered manner.

Because of Pathways, mothers at Laura’s Home are able to focus on their own coursework and counseling, knowing that their kids are not just in safe hands, but growing alongside them. Here are just a few examples of services The City Mission offers to children experiencing homelessness:

  • Tutoring and educational support
  • Access to mental health resources for those experiencing crisis
  • Safe, structured daily activities where they are cared for
  • Support from experienced and loving staff
  • Off campus field trips
  • Small group Bible studies and spiritual mentoring
