CROSSROADS BARBER VOLUNTEER *Involves Direct Resident Contact

LOCATION: Crossroads- 5310 Carnegie Ave. Building C, Cleveland, OH 44103

AVAILABLE TIMES: Flexible daytime hours (schedule a time with volunteer coordinator)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Cut men’s hair in an orderly and sanitary manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must be licensed hair care professional
  2. Passionate about working with men in crisis
  3. Free of an addictive lifestyle
  4. Understanding of the boundaries pertaining to the position
  5. Work respectfully under TCM staff
  6. Abides by the TCM’s Statement of Faith at all times
  7. Have the skills necessary to complete the tasks pertaining to the position

ONBOARDING EXPECTATIONS:

  1. Attend Volunteering 101 Session
  2. Complete Online Application
  3. Sign Volunteer Waiver
  4. Acknowledge Statement of Faith (regularly scheduled volunteers only)
  5. Background check (regularly scheduled volunteers only)
