CROSSROADS CASE MANAGEMENT VOLUNTEER *Direct Resident Contact
LOCATION: Crossroads- 5310 Carnegie Ave. Building B, Cleveland, OH 44103
AVAILABLE TIMES: TBD (will be discussed with the case management team)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Case Management department with conducting Homestar assessments for residents
- Assist residents with searching for and filling out housing applications
- Assist residents with navigating social services portals
- Assist with leading support groups (as needed)
- Meet with residents during off hours (as applicable and appropriate) and enter notes into Mission Tracker
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus
- Must be passionate about ministering to men in crisis
- Must have professional work experience in social work, counseling, mental health services, or another related field
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to motivate people to work, learn, and grow
- Ability and willingness to serve and communicate effectively with a diverse population
- Patience and the ability to listen intently
- Free of an addictive lifestyle
- Understanding of the boundaries pertaining to the position
- Abides by the TCM’s Statement of Faith at all times
- Have the skills necessary to complete the tasks pertaining to the position

- Sign Volunteer Waiver
- Acknowledge Statement of Faith
- Onsite visit/interview with Case Management staff
- Background Check & Fingerprinting
- Complete onsite training with Case Management staff
- Complete Trauma Informed Care Training and Deescalation Training
