CROSSROADS DAY ROOM SUPPORT VOLUNTEER *Involves Direct Resident Contact

LOCATION: Crossroads- 5310 Carnegie Ave. Building C, Cleveland, OH 44103

AVAILABLE TIMES: weekdays, 10-11/11:30am (except Wednesdays)

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  1. Attend and provide extra support for Open Door support group and other classes
  2. Share personal story/testimony with men on occasion
  3. Develop and provide consistent friendship and mentorship for men in the program
  4. Foster an environment of encouragement and healthy communication

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must be passionate about ministering to men in crisis
  2. Strong interpersonal skills
  3. Free of an addictive lifestyle
  4. Understanding of the boundaries pertaining to the position
  5. Work respectfully under TCM staff
  6. Abides by the TCM’s Statement of Faith at all times
  7. Have the skills necessary to complete the tasks pertaining to the position
  8. Must be 18 years or older

  2. Complete Online Application
  3. Sign Volunteer Waiver
  4. Acknowledge Statement of Faith
  5. Onsite Visit with staff
  6. Background check
