PATHWAYS AFTER SCHOOL VOLUNTEER *Involves Direct Resident Contact

LOCATION: Laura’s Home- 18120 Puritas Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44135

AVAILABLE TIMES: Monday-Friday, from 3:00-5:00pm

**Summer hours: 8:50-11:30am and 12:50-2:15pm**

RESONSIBILIITIES:

  • Support day-to-day programming functions (include students in large group games, help with homework, pass out snack, play with them during free time, etc.)
  • Plan/teach activities, crafts, games for students (if interested)
  • Engage with kids who appear to be more on the outskirts of the group
  • Assist with cleaning/organizing throughout the session and 15 minutes prior to clean-up

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  2. Passionate about working with youth (ages 5-17) in crisis
  3. Must be able to help children understand and complete homework assignments
  4. Work respectfully under TCM staff
  5. Understanding of the boundaries pertaining to the position
  6. Abides by the TCM’s Statement of Faith at all times
  7. Free of an addictive lifestyle
  8. Successfully complete background check and fingerprinting process
