CHILDCARE VOLUNTEER *Involves Direct Resident Contact
LOCATION: Laura’s Home- 18120 Puritas Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44135
AVAILABLE TIMES: Monday – Friday 8:45-11:30am OR 12:45-2:15pm. No weekend or evening opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Nursery (1 month – 1 year): Engage with kids – feed & rock babies & Toddlers (1 year – 3 years): Engage with
kids – assist with snack, read stories, assist with activities, play with inside and outside
• Preschool (3 years – 5 years): Engage with kids – instruct in units of learning, help with art activities, participate
in Bible time, read stories, assist with snack, play with inside and outside
• Support room functions and clean/sanitize during snack and at the end of class
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be passionate about ministering to women and children in crisis
- Experience working with children (not necessary, but a plus)
- Understanding of the boundaries pertaining to the position
- Work respectfully under TCM staff
- Abides by the TCM’s Statement of Faith at all times
- Have the skills necessary to complete the tasks pertaining to the position
- Free of an addictive lifestyle
- Youth volunteers must be at least 14 years old and serve with an adult/guardian at all times.
