Those funds are invested for tax-free growth and you can recommend donations to charities you care about, like The City Mission, over time.

How do I recommend a grant from my Donor-Advised Fund to The City Mission?

If you already have a DAF, you can recommend a grant to The City Mission using our Federal EIN #:   34-076058.

Helpful tips:

  • Please request that your name and address be included with the grant. If your DAF is marked as “anonymous,” The City Mission does not receive any information about your gift. Sharing your information helps us thank you personally and keep you connected to the life-changing work you make possible.
  • Your privacy is important to us. The City Mission never publishes donor information publicly—your generosity is used only for internal acknowledgment and to share with you the impact of your gift.
