Legacy Giving
Leaving a Legacy
Thoughtfully planning how to care for your loved ones and the organizations closest to your heart is a powerful way to share your values and faith with future generations.
Leaving a Legacy
How will you be remembered?
By including The City Mission in your estate plans, you extend your impact far beyond your lifetime—helping to transform lives for years to come. A gift through your Will or Trust—often called a legacy gift—allows you to: provide for your family; support causes you cherish; make an eternal difference for men, women, and children experiencing homelessness.
Best of all, a legacy gift costs nothing today yet leaves a lasting imprint of compassion and faith tomorrow.

Considering a Legacy Gift?
Leaving a gift in your Will to a ministry or charity you love is a meaningful expression of your
personal values – and often simpler than you may think. To include The City Mission, you may wish to use the following sample language in your Will or Revocable Living Trust:
“I give to The City Mission, a nonprofit organization located in Cleveland, Ohio, IRS Federal Tax
ID number EIN #34-076058, ___% (or dollar amount) of my estate for its general use.”
